Details

James Lee Wah (1832-1909) arrived in Australia c1856. He married Mary Victoria Hubbar in 1878 Together they had seven children: Samuel Robert (1878- ?), Maud Christina Amy (1881 - ?), Alice Percilia (or Perilia) Lavina (1883- ?), Albert John Henry (1887-1892-3), James Emmanuel Victor (1889-?), Violet Anna Victoria (1892-?), Alfred John Edward (1895-196?).

The family is believed to have been brought up in house owned by James Lee Wah on the edge of the Ironbark camp in Sandhurst (Bendigo) and maybe for a short period in a church owned house in Maryborough. They also may have lived in a house owned by James Lee Wah in Tuaggra St, Maryborough.
