    Description

    She married Daniel Poon Num in 1908 at St Luke's Church of England, Whitmore Square. They had met when she was teaching English, and he was a student, at the Church of Christ, Grote Street. Gertrude's wedding dress was made from Chinese silk which her bridegroom Daniel had imported from China.
