Summary

Wah Sin (Sing) was a miner at Moorina in the 1860s (possibly tin miner) before moving to Beaconsfield where he was working as a gardener in 1910. He was 34 years old when he married Mary Munting at the Baptist Church in York St, Launceston on 5 May 1879. The couple had three daughters - Mary, May and Florence, whilst living in Beaconsfield. After Mary's nervous breakdown, Wah Sin put their three daughters into a convent in Launceston, where they stayed for several years.
